The "call to action" needs to translated into building community with the candidate. Candidates can be easily frustrated when they don't receive a call back right away and we all know as recruiters it is not always possible nor practical. But we can bring them into community by the use of Web 2.0 technology. With today's social networks such as facebook, myspace, twitter, utube, blogs, open forums, candidates begin to feel connected to you as a recruiter and to one another. This then enables you to keep the candidate 'warm' while they might not be the perfect fit today they could be tomorrow. Making these accessible to your website can start growing these communities. If you need help on setting up any of these Web 2.0 tech let me know.

Great video. I have a personal blog that I have used for a non-profit and it has really helped communicate the mission of that organization. I'm looking forward to creating a blog for recruiters that will help motivate and coach.

Your message is great... it is so important to first, stay positive and in recruiting use many different sourcing methods. I'm getting more comfortable and better at this each and every day. As they say, "If at first you don't succeed...try, try again!!"
